& Terms and Conditions When
browsing the site, simply click on a candle picture to view a larger picture and
further details. Candle prices
include everything except the oil. They come complete with wicks (which last indefinitely),
instructions, funnel, etc. We can supply oil in the
UK if you are unable to purchase it locally. Please note that
all US Dollar and Euro prices are approximate, and may fluctuate.

Privacy & Confidentiality
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
In other words, your privacy and
confidentiality is guaranteed. We do not trade, sell or give your name and/or
addresses to any other company for marketing purposes or any reason except to
fulfil your order. From time to time we may email you updated information regarding
midnight oil. If you prefer not to receive any such information, please let us
know. Cookies We
use cookies to keep track of your current shopping session in order to personalise
your experience. If you do not accept cookies you will not be able to use this
site to order.
Delivery. Shipping & Handling
Most orders arrive within 1-3 days within the UK, depending upon the service requested. We use Royal Mail for the most part.
All parcels are wrapped in secure packaging
and sent either Royal Mail First Class Recorded (Three day
service), Royal Mail Special Delivery (Next day), or Royal
Mail International Airsure, as appropriate.
Goods supplied
within the UK will normally be delivered within three working days of receipt
of order (and very often next day). Next day is an option within the UK only. Items to Europe and America normally arrive
within five working days, and the rest of the world within seven working days. On
occasions items may be sent in separate packages at no additional P&P cost.
Where a specific delivery date has been agreed, and where this delivery date cannot
be met, the customer will be notified and given the opportunity to agree a new
delivery date or receive a full refund. ORDERING
Our contract
to you When a customer places an order
to purchase a product from midnight oil, we will send you a confirmation email
containing the details of your order together with information on your right to
cancel. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product, which is accepted
by us when we post the product. Midnight Oil may choose NOT to accept an order
for any reason. In the unlikely event of products not being available from stock
we shall notify you immediately. You will have the right to cancel the order at
no cost to you, choose an alternative, or make a back order. You will not be charged
additional postage for back orders. Further, if any item is placed on back order
at your request, you will not be charged for this item until dispatch.
Price and Payment The Price of the
Goods shall be that stipulated on www.midnightoil.co.uk. We are not VAT registered,
and the prices exclude delivery charges. The total purchase price, including delivery
charges, if any, will be displayed in the customers shopping cart prior to confirming
the order. Payment of the price plus delivery charges must be made in full before
dispatch of the goods. All goods supplied by midnight oil remain our property
until such time as they are paid for in full. Your credit card is charged in the
name of Midnight Oil. The Goods
We
reserves the right to adjust the price and specification of any item on the website,
or to withdraw any goods from the website at any time. We shall not be liable
to anyone for withdrawing any goods from the website or for refusing to process
an order. Products shown on this website may vary slightly from the images displayed. RETURNS
Cancellation and returns The customer is advised to inspect
the goods upon receipt and should notify us by email or phone within 48 hours
of receipt if the goods are damaged or do not comply with any aspect of the contract.
Failure to do so will result in the customer being deemed to have accepted the
goods. Where a claim of defect or damage is made, the goods should be returned
by the customer and shall be entitled to an exchange or full refund (including
delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the goods are in fact defective.
Cancellation of order You may for any
reason cancel your order, at any time before the goods are despatched, or within
14 working days from receiving the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights
as a consumer. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase simply return
it to us within 14 days of receiving your order unused (in its original condition
and packaging) and we will exchange it for an alternative product or refund your
money (P&P costs are non refundable) within 30 days of cancellation. If the
customer fails to return the goods following cancellation, we are entitled to
deduct the cost of recovering the goods from the customer. Copyright
and database rights Any material
found on this website, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images,
audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software may not be copied,
reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast or transmitted in any way,
or for any reason, without the express written consent of Midnight Oil. Use of
this site constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions which take
effect on the date which you first use the site. These Terms and Conditions do
not affect your statutory rights. |
